After playing hard and bringing the game to overtime the Long Island Panthers overcame the Demon Knights and were crowned the 2008 Metro Bowl II Champions. The game was fought by the defense of both teams keeping the game very close until overtime when the Panthers pulled ahead and won with a final score of 13-7. We would like to take this time to thank our players and coaches for bringing home the gold. We would also like to take this time to congradulate the Demon Knights for bringing it to us and making it to the championship game alongside us. It was an honor gentlemen.
