The Long Island Panthers will be playing in the First Annual Bed Stuy Community Bowl. The purpose of this benefit game/event is to provide much needed support to the Bedstuy Campaign Against Hunger (BSCAH). This organization has been a vital resource for many individuals, who are in need of help for years. The BSCAH is the largest food pantry of its kind in Brooklyn. Many of the residents that depend on this service reside in the Bed Stuy area. However due to the current economic crisis the pantry is in need of help. Donations are down and demands are increasing. During critical times like these it is imperative that we exhibit our strength as strbng communities and work together. That is why we are reaching out to those who are willing and able to make a difference. We are kindly asking individuals, to donate at least two non-perishable items as admission to the game. Items can be donated from 9am-7pm.
