A member of the Long Island Panthers family has passed away. Mark Angelo Messina, a former player and one of the original Panthers passed away suddenly on August 8th 2009, due to an enlarged heart. The Long Island Panthers will be retiring his jersey, in a ceremony to be held on August 29th. All of our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this difficult time.
